About me

Jocelito Camargo B.Sc. R.Ac.

Hi! I am Jocelito Camargo (Joe) and I am a Registered Acupuncturist in good standing with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO).

In 2012, I majored in Biomedicine and gained a deep understanding of the biological mechanisms of the human body. However, I didn't have all the answers and developed a keen interest in the body's energetic mechanisms, which led me to explore the fascinating world of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Through this experience, I have developed a passion for well-being, which comes in many forms, integrating the best of both Western and Eastern medicines.

I have completed additional studies in acupuncture for neurological diseases, including extended training in stroke rehabilitation. As of February 2023, I am authorized to provide acupuncture treatment to patients at Bruyère's Saint-Vincent Hospital in Ottawa.

I am pleased to offer you my know-how and experience through my services so that you can more than just read or hear about what I do, but actually feel it.

There are twelve months, twelve constellations, twelve climatic divisions, twelve daily periods of time and twelve major channels in our body, also called meridians, interconnected with each other, through where our life energy (or “Qi”) flows like rivers flow the water (Ling Shu).

The network of the meridians is closely connected with tissues and organs and plays an important role in human physiology, pathology, prevention and treatment of diseases. Keeping the smooth flow of Qi is essential for all physiological processes and good health, and my mission is to help you to keep your Qi flowing well in each of your twelve meridians.
