About me

Hi! I am Jocelito Camargo (Joe) and I am a Registered Acupuncturist in good standing with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO).

In 2012, I majored in Biomedicine and gained a deep understanding of the biological mechanisms of the human body. However, I didn't have all the answers and developed a keen interest in the body's energetic mechanisms, which led me to explore the fascinating world of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Through this experience, I have developed a passion for well-being, which comes in many forms, integrating the best of both Western and Eastern medicines.

​

I have completed additional studies in acupuncture for neurological diseases, including extended training in stroke rehabilitation. In 2024 I had the opportunity and pleasure of traveling to China for advanced TCM studies and a hospital internship. I attended the WFAS (World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies) programs in Beijing and Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, alongside their affiliated hospitals.

As of February 2023, I am authorized to provide acupuncture treatment to patients at Bruyère's Saint-Vincent Hospital in Ottawa.
